Kristin Kelleher-Wong,
President

Kristin Wong has over 26 years of media management experience at top broadcasting companies, including CBS Television, San Francisco Business Times, and Entercom Radio. In her role as president of KW Construction, she will bring her marketing, business development, and management expertise to expand in the company’s work.

Kristin is known for her hands-on approach to create successful sales teams and productive work environments through her strong Midwestern work ethic and positive attitude. She will carry forward Kevin Wong’s vision of setting and maintaining high, consistent expectations; exceeding industry standards, and continuing to form and build lasting professional relationships.

Martin Sakata,
Vice President and CFO

Martin Sakata is responsible for the general operations and financial management of the company. His career at KW Construction of over 25 years gives him a deep knowledge of the construction industry practices and business functions.

Martin oversees all aspects of the construction management including project supervision, cost evaluation, estimating, and field management. As CFO, he oversees the accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting of the company. He also works to maintain current client relationships and to develop new markets and clients. Martin holds licenses in Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada.

Kevin Wong,
Chairman

Kevin Wong has over 30 years of experience in construction. Prior to founding KW Construction in 1989, he began his career with Bel Air Stores as the Director of Construction and Maintenance where he was responsible for the maintenance of all the Northern California Bel Air grocery stores. In addition, he lead the construction of several new stores and remodeling of existing Bel Air Markets.

Through his leadership, KW Construction is recognized as a valued, quality builder. Kevin holds high expectations for himself and this staff for dedication, consistency, and reliability. His beliefs result in exceeding industry standards and forming strong professional relationships.

Nikki Flores,
Contract Administrator/ Office Manager

Nikki joined the KW Construction team in 2011. Her background as a Contract Administrator and Office Manager brings valuable knowledge to the team. Her proficiency and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to the day-to-day operations and management of office function and facilities. Nikki’s wears many hats at KW with responsibilities ranging from assisting the office staff with accounting, human resources, to the project coordinating from pre-construction to close out.

She maintains all insurance and contractual documentation for KW and maintains our databases for customers, subcontracts, and project information. Nikki is responsible for intercompany reconciliation of accounts, with keen attention to detail. She assists in the development contracts and subcontracts for client and vendor records and helps with project organization and accounting in American Contractor. Nikki’s experience in both administrative business and the construction industry offer detail-oriented approach that brings efficiency within the project team.

Dennis Horton,
Senior Field Foreman / Lead Estimator

Dennis joined the KW Constructions Project Management team in 2017. As a Senior Field Foreman and Lead Estimator, Dennis’s project responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing budgets, estimating with qualifying bids, awarding bids, proposals, procurement of subcontractors and materials, project scheduling, purchase orders, direct liaison with clients, communication with owners, architects, engineers, submittal processing, monitoring and coordinating work performed by field staff and subcontractors, ensuring project operations are in compliance with design specifications, shop drawings, change orders, control and maintenance logs, meeting minutes, requisitions, coordination and overall development of the entire project from pre-construction services to closeout documents.

With over 47 years’ experience in the construction industry, Dennis is able to utilize his extensive knowledge and superior skill set to manage projects, lead and mentor personnel, and communicate effectively with clients. Dennis uses his background and experience to provide our clients with the service and quality KW Construction is known for.
